The Maytex Thermal Shield Kaylee Window Panel blocks 99% of light and uses a three-sided thermal shield to improve insulation against heat and cold. The woven solid-color fabric has a softer feel than foam-backed room-darkening panels, while Velcro dots help attach the shield to the wall for stronger energy-saving performance. It works with standard, decorative or continental curtain rods. For a standard window opening, two panels are recommended; closing them fully together provides the greatest energy savings. Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then hang to dry and use a low iron if needed.
